The Vestment Chest
Diehl
tells us that the simple design of the coat of arms on the chest dates it to
the 14th century. It's still a little late for Saher. Like the others,
this chest is far, too massive for the project if re-constructed unaltered.
This chest remains on the short list because, like the others, it will scale
down, has feet, and has measured drawings in MF, this time on page.
In addition, this chest has simple joinery, and will lend itself to quick construction,
a factor, since this project is so badly over-due.
