Small Boarded Box
This
box is perhaps the most appropriate to the project thus far. Made in the
early 16th century, it is identified as being possibly French, getting close to
Saher's location, if not his period. Its joints are simple, and it appears
to be roughly the right size. It would scale to the desired size easily,
and the gothic tracework would adapt well to being painted-on.
