Beginning to See A Pattern . . .

Here the blank has the complete pattern. The lighting is unfortunate, and the pattern is a little difficult to see.  Notice, though, that in sticking with my plan to use the knot as the bowl of the spoon, I have sacrificed about two inches of the overall length.  This means that this spoon will be too short for cooking, as it will bring the cooks hands too close to the heat.  At this point, my spoon becomes a serving spoon.
